Join us for this one-day masterclass to improve your knowledge surrounding disadvantage in the classroom and come away with practical tools to help you put an action plan in place.
Learners face different types of disadvantage in the classroom, which can impact their access to the same education as other students. Vulnerable learners, children with special education needs or disabilities and children with socio-economic disadvantage might all need additional support in order to achieve their best potential outcomes.
This full day masterclass, led by expert Matt Bromley will explore the different types of disadvantage facing pupils, so that you are able to define and identify them. You will consider the impact on learning and how you can promote high expectations and independent working. You’ll come away feeling confident in your ability to follow a 3-point plan to diminish disadvantage.
With plenty of time for networking, group work and feedback, this highly interactive workshop will provide you with the space you need to address your school’s challenges.
