Childline reported an over 60% increase in the number of calls they received from children suffering exam anxiety during the run up to the 2021/22 exam season. With senior leaders in schools reporting similar concerns, it is crucial that you are preparing to support children for the 2022/23 exam season who might be suffering with anxiety.
Join us for this half day masterclass, led by Sam Garner to learn more about the reasons for increased rates of exam anxiety, how you can identify it and the impact it can have on children. You’ll look at practical strategies and tools that you can use to support students, and how to best implement these at a whole school level when working with individuals and groups.
You will consider proactive preventative steps you can take to minimise exams anxiety, including making changes to language and the school environment. During this masterclass, there will be plenty of time for group discussion, as well as questions.
