This Conference is now Closed

Join us for this brand-new masterclass to ensure that you are prepared to meet the expectations set out in the National Plan for Music Education.

“.. music is an essential part of a broad and ambitious curriculum for all pupils. It must not be the preserve of the privileged few. Music should be planned and taught as robustly as any other foundation curriculum subject”

The National Plan for Music Education

“Music should be represented in every school’s leadership structure, with a designated music lead or head of department at school and/or academy trust level, for primary and secondary phases.”

The National Plan for Music Education

The National Plan for Music Education sets out what music teaching and learning should look like in our primary schools. With a vision for high quality music education in early years and schools, this appears daunting and unattainable.

This workshop will empower both specialist and non-specialist teachers of music to provide a rich and varied musical learning experience for their learners that places creativity and imagination at the heart of a well-structured music curriculum.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Specialist and non-specialist teachers of music and music co-ordinators in primary schools and MATs
