Designated Safeguarding Leads and their Deputies are required to refresh their knowledge at least annually, join us for the Safeguarding Children in Education Summit for an update on some of the biggest safeguarding issues facing schools.
You’ll hear from a range of expert speakers giving you update on topics such as changes to KCSIE, dealing with low level concerns, responding to sexual harassment and your approach to online safety. With plenty of time throughout the day to put your questions to speakers to ensure that you are able to address the issues that matter to you.

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility. Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families has a role to play. In order to fulfil this responsibility effectively, all practitioners should make sure their approach is child centred. This means that they should consider, at all times, what is in the best interests of the child.

Designated Safeguarding Leads, Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads, Assistant Heads, Deputy Heads, Headteachers, Pastoral Leads and any other member of the school staff who wish to update their safeguarding knowledge.
