OFSTED Want Data for SEND Participation

With Cubbie SEND students spend more time participating in class

Cubbie software produces participation data for inspectors

A session is called a Cubbie Sprint and lasts for between 5 and 15 minutes. We want the student to have maximum time participating in class, not managing their sensory needs. Students can have their own personal Cubbie Sensory Diet created by our occupational therapist in combination with our software, this is included in our service. Students without a sensory diet can also access Cubbie experiences through our easy-to-use touchscreen interface. The advantage of a personalised Cubbie Profile is the software helps schedule Cubbie Sprints to minimise disruption. It also means that students can pick up where they left off at their last session and progress is monitored.

Our research shows sensory overload is reduced by 75% & classroom participation is increased by 50%. Plus, 20% of teaching time is lost dealing with disruption caused by anxiety & sensory dysregulation. With Cubbie 66% of this is recovered

The Cubbie software has a reporting function. It mainly creates monthly usage reports to share with management and governing bodies to monitor outcomes. School inspectors should also find the data useful to validate opinions
